SHAWN BYFIELD (www.ShawnByfield.com) is a Dora Award winning choreographer (for his expert dance choreography in musical i Think i Can). As well, Byfield is a Gemini Award nominee and a Black Canadians Award nominee. He is a veteran of TV, film and fashion; an internationally renowned dance instructor; National radio co-host, and Director of Byfield Dance Experience in Toronto.

As a 25+ year veteran in the dance and entertainment industry, Byfield teaches master classes literally from coast to coast in Canada, and overseas in Israel, Scotland and England. Having taught thousands of students of all ages, Shawn offers a wide range of inspiring and challenging dance classes and workshops for beginner adults to professional dancers in Toronto and across Canada.

Many of Toronto area dance instructors once had Byfield as their teacher. Many have become respected dance professionals in film, television, cruise ships and music theatre.
